Wagga Wagga has a temperate climate with hot, dry summers and cool to cold winters. Under the Köppen climate classification, the city has a humid subtropical climate (Cfa), albeit having a semi-arid influence due to its vegetation. At an elevation of 147 m (482 ft) above sea level, Wagga Wagga has four distinct seasons.
